Joe Ford, Devoted and Caring Husband and Father, Man of Faith, embraced his journey to be with the Lord on January 28, 2016.
Joe was a selfless and giving person, always giving food and shelter to the poor and elderly, without discrimination. He was more caring of others need than his own. As founder of Construction Concepts, Joe was able to further fulfill his passion for helping others.
He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Mary Buckner Ford; son, Steven Ford; daughter, Dawn Ford Bissell; grandchildren; Brandon, Alec and Lily; brothers Henry, Don, David and Conley; sisters Mary, Nona and Annie; brother-in-law, Johnny and Special Friend Dada.
The family will receive friends from 4-6pm on Saturday, January 30 at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home at 5315 Kingston Pike in Knoxville. A private interment will be held at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences at www.highlandmemorialknoxville.com
