Jean M Haynes

Jean M. Haynes, age 85, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Knoxville, TN, passed away March 13, 2022 at Mount Washington Care Center in Cincinnati. She was a member of Church St. United Methodist Church in Knoxville, TN. Jean was a wonderful, loving mother and wife to her family. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Home Economics. She was a devoted teacher of fifth and sixth grades at Powell Elementary School. Preceded in death by husbands, Benson Andrew Spurling, Bill Scott, and Furman Haynes; parents, Clyde A. and Nelle Mischlich. Survived by sons, Benson Andrew Spurling, III and wife Michelle, and Michael Spurling; grandchildren, Andrew Robert Spurling, Lisa Michelle Spurling, Rachel Ann Spurling, Amy Elizabeth Spurling; brother, Joe Clyde Mischlich and wife Charlene. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 – 3 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. The graveside services will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. David Tabor officiating.
