Jasper "JC" Carl Wilson

JC worked as a cabinet maker for Knox County Schools for over 30 years before retiring. His favorite past time was fishing and camping with his wife. He loved when family and friends visited, especially the grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his wife Gladys Louise Widner Wilson; parents Jasper Monroe and Dolly Magnolia Wilson; grandchild Albert Green Jr.; siblings Henry, Irene, Clyde, Helen, Roy, Myrtle, Fred and adopted brother Bob Garland.

JC is survived by children Peggy Green, Terry (Rick) McCroskey, Ricky (Doris) Wilson and Michael Wilson; stepdaughter Helen Matthews; grandchildren Amanda (Steven) Long, Rebecca (Keith) Arnwine, Jeremy Green, Samatha Wilson, Jake McCroskey and Charly McCroskey; great-grandchildren Raquel, Jesslynn, Zachery, Axl, Noah and Lincoln.

The family will receive friends Friday February 24, 2023, from 5pm-7pm with a funeral service following at 7pm, in the Magnolia Chapel of Berry Highland South Funeral Home located at 9010 E. Simpson, Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. The graveside service will be held Saturday February 25, 2023, at 3pm in the Garden of Cross.
