Jane Marie Snasdell Peters, 80, passed away on October 7, 2018. A graduate of UTK and LMU, she taught in Sevier County for almost 40 years at both the elementary and high school levels. She was an entrepreneur who loved her family and dogs. She was also passionate about the Sevier County community. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and the Sevier County Retired Teachers Association.
Preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William Morgan Peters, Sr.; daughter, Anne Adele; parents, Alvin and Rose Adele Snasdell.
Survived by sister, Barbara Mauck; children, Jennifer Bledsoe (Eric), John Greenman (Filomena), Cynthia Andruzzi (Walter), Susanne Thacker (Charlie, Jr.), Billie Cobb (Steven, decd); three step-children, Carol Jamison, William Peters, Jr. and Elizabeth Peters; grandchildren, Donna, Ashley, Scott, Abigail, Aidan, and Addison; step-grandson, Chris; as well as nieces and cousins.
There will be a Gathering of Friends on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919. There will be a Memorial Service at Whispering Waters in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
