Jane Marie Lawson, age 81, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Jane was a kind, loving person, she had a very selfless disposition, and was always willing to help no matter the cause. She loved to bird watch, ride her three wheeled bicycle, and most of all her family. Jane was loved by all who had the chance to know her, and her famous chocolate chip cookies. They both will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Edna Arndt; husband, Lee D. Lawson Sr.; son, Cary Daniel Lawson.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories son, Lee D.(Kimberly) Lawson Jr.; brother, Robert Arndt; grandchildren, Lucas (Crystal) Lawson, Sommer Farmer, Jake Lawson, Katie Inman, Stevie Lawson; great-grandchildren, Logan Delph, Dalan Lawson, Evan Inman, Shyanne Keaton, Aubrey Keaton, Lee Keaton, Gracie Lawson, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to recognize and thank Kimberly Lawson for being there during Jane's illness. She was truly a blessing.
Open Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 11AM - 1:30 PM at Berry Highland South, 9010 E. Simpson Rd., Knoxville, TN 37920. Family and friends will gather for a Chapel Service at Berry Highland South at 2 PM with Tye Berry to officiate the service. A committal service will follow directly after the Chapel Service, at Berry Highland South Cemetery. The Chapel Service will be livestreamed on the Berry Highland South Facebook page for those who cannot attend.
