James Wilson “Jim” Ledford age 93 of Karns Community went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 9, 2024. He suffers no more! He was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life. He loved the outdoors. He loved working on and selling lawn mowers in his later years. He was loved so much by his family and friends. He had a “big kid like” heart and always had a great laugh! Jim is preceded in death by his first wife, Blackie and his young son, Mark. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy of 60 years and his stepdaughter, Peggy S. Lewis “Bunny”. He leaves here his loving children, Jeff (Gina) Ledford, Laurie (Jeff) Jansen, Julie (Mark) Vaughan, son-in-aw, Jimmie Lewis; step-grandsons, Andrew Jansen and his family, Jack Vaughan and Matthew Vaughan and many family members and friends. We would sincerely like to thank Ben Atchley Veterans Home in Karns for their exceptional care for dad. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm Sunday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a 2 pm graveside service.
