Iva Rose Tipton, age 79 of Kodak passed away on April 18, 2015. Iva was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a former 29 year employee of Allied Signal who she considered her second family. She was preceded in death by her husband Coy Tipton to whom she was a devoted wife for 61 years., her son Ricky, and four sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her Son Jeff Tipton, her daughters Tammy and Suzanne and two special son in laws Calvin Wyrick and Allen Stanifer. Six grandchildren; Missy, Bubby, Jason, Alecia, Dusty and Summer and seven great grandchildren; Joselin, Caitlin, Cameron, Kali, Ava, Saydee, and Destiny and one brother Mack McCubbins, and one sister Shirley Cummings, and numerous other family and friends. Family would like to express a special thanks to the EMT of Sevier County.
Family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Tuesday April 21, 2015 from 5-7 pm with Funeral service to follow at 7pm. Rev. Kim McCroskey officiating. Family and friends will gather at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 am to proceed in procession to Pollard cemetery for graveside service.
