Hugh Ray Wilson, Jr., known to most as Hank, passed away suddenly at home on October 17, 2016. He was 43. Hank achieved his Eagle Scout and continued his commitment to the Boy Scouts of America by becoming a commissioner for the Chehote District, an Advisor to the Order of the Arrow, a recipient of the Wood Badge, and focused his scouting energies on underprivileged youth. Hank is also remembered as a chef, a Parrot Head and for his uncanny imitation of Silent Bob. He helped his family manage their South Knoxville Restaurant, Ye Olde Steakhouse, and loved the time spent interacting with the patrons. Hank was a huge fan of Walt Disney and completed an internship at Walt Disney World. He received his culinary degree from Walter State and put it to good use while competing in both the Second Harvest Food Bank Chili Cookoff and the Big Kahuna Wing Festival. Most importantly, Hank will be remembered for his enormous heart, generosity and willingness to help someone in any way he could. Hugh Ray Wilson, Jr. is preceded in death by his grandparents Henry and Vivian Wilson, Bunt and Helen King. He is survived by his parents, Cheryl and Hugh Ray Wilson, his sisters, Erin and Amy Wilson, his uncle, David King, and aunt, Nancy Ayres.
