Osborne, Herman Ralph, age 76, of South Knoxville, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011. He graduated from the Tennessee School for the Deaf (TSD) and was a longtime member of the Knoxville Center of the Deaf. Ralph was retired from the printing industry. He enjoyed bowling and supporting TSD and UT sports. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Madge and William Osborne; brothers Vernon and Bill Osborne. Survived by wife of 55 years, Mary Ellen Osborne; four sons, Terry Osborne (wife Elizabeth), Larry Osborne (wife Sandra), Barry Osborne and Kerry Osborne (wife Judi); grandsons, Bill, Kristopher, Jacob, Justin, Kody, Alex and Jesse; brother, Glenn Osborne (wife Sue); sister Louise Peeples (husband Jerry); sister in law, Janice Osborne; and several nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 6:30 p.m., at Temple Baptist Church, 1700 West Beaver Creek Drive, Powell, TN. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at UT Medical Center, UT Hospice and Hillcrest South Nursing Home for their kindness.
