Helen Ruth Stone, 79, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Helen loved Elvis Presley and loved everyone that she met.
Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Stone; her parents J.B and Minnie Stevens. Her brother; J.H Stevens and her sisters; Eddie Ruth and Anna Lois Stonecipher.
Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Scott and Jody Stone, granddaughter; Amy Johnson, brother’s; Floyd Stevens and J.B Stevens Jr., sister; Nancy Irick. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will have a Graveside Service on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 11:00 am at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. The service will be officiated by her nephew, Rev. Jeff Stevens.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to all of the NHC nurses and staff, and to the staff of Amedisy’s Hospice Care.
