I am sorry to hear of your loss.GARY WAS MY FIRST BOSS.He was my FRIEND. HE always had a good word or a good joke to tell.I will miss HIM!

I am so sorry to hear about Gary.  he was a customer of ours for many many years.  I always enjoyed talking to him when he would come in.  my thoughts and prayers are with his family.  his laugh will be missed!

I am so sorry for your loss.I have known Gary along time he was a good man.When he came to Newport to work on something he always had a joke to tell us.Even though we were busy most of the time we would always listen andlaugh and joke with him.He will truly be missed by everyone and the Newport mcdonalds lifts the family up in prayer during this sad time.

Gary       was one of the most intelligent man I have ever known. Because or him the world is a better place. He introduced 100's of young people to the work force, his employees became better people because of his management. I never heard him say one word that he would not say in front of his mother. He always radiated a glow about himself that effected other people he met. I knew him for over 40years and will miss him and pray for his family

Gary Tidwell was a gentleman and a fine person.  He was very helpful with my scout troup when he escorted all of us through the McDonalds on Magnolia.  Remember that, Scott?  I saw you at the famous ball park this past summer, and I am so glad we had a conversation.  Thinking of  your family at this time.

I worked with Gary at McDonalds on magnolia he was a great guy he help me I became a manager there he was a person a lot of people are not now days he care about his job and people he was one of a kind I worked there when Halls went to the state he was so excited scott my son was on that team he really love his family he is at rest now he had a sense of humor and always cutup and smile and took his career serious God Bless You scott and your mother and your family  he is in a better place than us Heaven

Gary was a great friend and customer of our company. We will miss him greatly.

We are deeply saddened by Gary's passing. In the short time I knew him, I was always impressed with his humor, insight, and loyalty. He is a rare example of a life-long employee who cared deeply about the people around him. Indeed, I cannot think of a time when he did not have a smile on his face, even as his life here was drawing to an end.

Our prayers are with Aunt Sylvia and her family in this time of loss. May the peace and presence of our Lord Jesus surround and indwell your family, even as we celebrate Gary's new life and his legacy here.

I'm sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I have thought of him from time to time through the years.  He was my manager at McDonalds on Magnolia from 1968 to 1972.  He was a very fair, considerate and brilliant person.  I always enjoyed his tidbits of knowledge that he would dole out to us young men.

I am very sorry to here of Gary's passing. He was not only my boss when I was 16 he was my friend ever since.

Gary was a good man....despite being a Vanderbilt fan!  I worked for him at McDonald's on Magnolia during college.  He taught me a lot about work and doing a good job.  It was a priviledge to know him.  Our prayers are with you all.

Gary was my manager when I worked at McDonald's on Magnolia during college.  Despite being a Vanderbilt fan he was a good guy!  He taught me early about a good work ethic.  Prayers for you all.

I was so sorry to learn that Gary had passed away. He was the first boss that I ever had and was wonderful to me. We used to go to HS football games between Halls and Gibbs and to Vanderbilt and Tennessee ballgames in Neyland Stadium. 
I'll really miss him and will always remember him fondly.
