Frances Opal Moore, age 86, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Opal was born June 2, 1936. Opal and her husband Thomas went to Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. She sold Avon for 63 years, and spent her time taking care of her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years, Thomas C. Moore; mother, Eunice Johnson; and sister, Delores Ogle.

Opal leaves behind her sons, Tim Moore and Tom Moore (Natalie); grandchildren: Amanda Snodderly, Bailey Gregory, Adam Moore, and Chloe Zachery; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Atchley (Blaine); nieces and nephews; many special friends; and a special neighbor.

Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
