Edna Mae McNutt, age 86, a resident of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at her home. She was born in Knoxville, to the union of Hiram and Louella Johnson Marcum whom preceded her in death. She retired from St. Mary’s Hospital after serving 25 years as a Heart Monitor Technician. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Clara Parrott; brother, Tommy Marcum, brothers-in-law, Laughton, Bob and Jerry; sister-in-law, Jean Teaster and husband, Sam Teaster. Edna is survived by her husband of 69 years, Billy Lynn McNutt; sons, Ronnie McNutt, Sr. and fiancé, Mary Ann Frank, Dan L. McNutt and wife, Vicki, all of Knoxville; 4 grandchildren, Ronnie Lynn McNutt, Jr. and wife, Nicole, Patrick Lawson, Robert McNutt and fiancé, Morgan Pekala and Thomas McNutt; great grandchildren, Abigail McNutt, and soon to arrive, Braelyn McNutt. Additionally, she is survived by sister, Martha Jean King and husband, Robert; brother, Leon Tinsley and wife, Mickey; brother-in-law, Donnie McNutt and wife, Julie of Florida; cousins, Glen, Steve, Patricia, Brenda, Rickey, Gail and Cordie McNutt, Richard Teaster; nieces, Pat, Tammy, Sharon and Janet Marcum; Beverly and David; Pat and Darryl Haney and Michelle, as well as many other extended family members and special friends including our Angel of Mercy, Jeanie Pauley. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Berry Highland South Funeral Home on Simpson Rd. from 12-2 p.m., with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be immediately following the service in Berry Highland South Cemetery.
