Donald Glenn Wright

in Kentucky, and then later was raised in Pennington Gap, Virginia. He was a loving husband, father,

and grandfather. He was blessed with 44 years of marriage to his loving wife, Ellen Wright.

He enjoyed his work both with the Knox County school system and with the University of Tennessee.

He attended Mount Olive Baptist Church. Donnie is preceded in death by the following: his mother whom

he loved dearly- Margaret Jeanette "me-mom" Rainey Wright Martin, his father- Robert Kyle Wright, his brother-Bobby Wright, his grandson- Bradley Kyle Adkins, his grandmother- Granny Rainey, and Scott Woliver (Elaine's husband).

He is survived by his wife- Ellen Wright, his two sons- Daniel Kyle Wright and Eric Martin Wright,Stepdad Thomas Martin (Tommy), his two daughters-in-laws Brittany Brooks (Daniel Wright) and Amber Wright (Eric's wife), grandson- Trevor Wright, his sister-in-law Carol Wright (Bobby's wife), his niece- Elaine Woliver, his nephew- Robby Wright (and wife, Lisa Wright), two his great nephews-CJ Woliver and Scotty Woliver and both of their families, and great nieces Lynn Wright and Haley.

A Memorial service will be held at Temple Baptist Church on Saturday July 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm at 1700 W Beaver Creek Dr. Powell, TN 37849. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com
