Debra Ruth Guillory

Debra Ruth Guillory, age 61, passed away on February 17, 2017 surrounded by the tear-stained faces of her family and friends at UT Hospital. She was born in Chattanooga, November 12, 1955 but lived many years in Knoxville, TN. Debra had a generous, giving heart and spent herself for her friends and family. She put the needs of others before her own and will be sorely missed by those that loved and knew her.

She was proceeded in death by her mother Beulah McHaffie, father James Eldridge Jr, infant daughter Samantha, brother Michael Eldridge, sisters Linda Eldridge and Annie McDaniel.

Debra is survived by her husband of 25 years Alan Guillory of Knoxville; her son Johnny Lane, sisters Brenda Bucci of Elon, NC, Glenda Eldridge of Greenville, TN; brothers David Eldridge (Tammy) of Jefferson City, TN; and Danny Eldridge of Mascot, TN. She is also survived by her nieces Ashley Hickle, Amanda Sellars, Chastity Hawkins, Danielle Eldridge, Victoria Eldridge, nephew Kyle Bucci and many cousins, aunts, uncle and numerous friends, especially Pat Finley and Ralph Sharp.

Her funeral service will conducted at Mcarty-Evergreen Funeral Home 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville TN on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 7:00 pm. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm with funeral service immediately following. Interment will be at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway Knoxville, TN on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is asked to assemble at the funeral home by 9:00 am to line up for the procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers include: Richard Curd, Michael Hickle, John Kiestler, Michael Toth, A J Walker, and Andy Whitehead.
