David Williams, age 72, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 7th, 2023. David served in the United States Coast Guard and Navy for 22 years and in primary care and cardiology for 33 years. He recently retired and looked forward to spending time with his wife and family. He was a member of NewLife Gathering and was a part of the welcoming team. His love and kindness left a mark on everyone he encountered, and he was loved by many.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Willamae Brown (Williams); first wife, Kitty Williams (Wilson); father, Bill Williams.Survivors include wife Cathy Williams; sons, Shaon and Jason Williams; daughters, Jenna Carter (Matthew) and Rebecca Kouvas (David); grandsons Ian and Asher Carter and Henrik Kouvas.
Family and friends will celebrate his life on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Bridgewater Place, 205 Bridgewater Rd. Knoxville, TN 37923 with Reverend Scott Jackson officiating. There will be a private interment for family only. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com
