Smith, David Samuel, age 82, of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday January 27, 2016 at Shannondale Health Care Center. David served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Survivors include: wife Barbara Pruitt Smith; daughters Rhonda and husband Brad Parks, and Robin Smith; grandchildren: David and wife Sarah Sims, Kristen Simms, and Sydney Smith; sisters Faye Smith and Ruth Latham; and brother-in-law Glenn Pruitt. A memorial reception will be held on Saturday January 30th at 6:30 PM at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, with a Celebration of David’s Life to follow at 7:00 PM, Celebrant Rick Phipps officiating.
