David L. Hubbs

David L. Hubbs, age 86, of South Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 19, 2023 and is reunited with Edna, his wife of 66 years who passed away one week earlier. David was a graduate of Fulton High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1964. David retired from Rohm and Haas after 32 years. He was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church. He enjoyed crappie fishing, playing the guitar and singing.

David is preceded in death by loving wife, Edna Hubbs and parents, Bruce Hubbs and Deborah (Hubbs) Kiviniemi.

He is survived by daughter, Jeanette Cruze; son, Scott (Deborah) Hubbs; grandchildren: Aaron, Hayley, Nick (Rosie); great-grandchildren: Nikao, John Michael and Caleb. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will meet Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 2500 Maryville Pike, Knoxville for a 10:00 AM Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Luke Wilkerson.
