Darryl Matthew Welden

Darryl Matthew Welden, age 57, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially time with his children. Darryl loved to make apple butter with his family. He enjoyed working alongside his brothers in construction, spending time in the outdoors and attending church at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist, where he was a dedicated member. He had a strong love for the Lord.

Darryl is preceded in death by his father, James Matthew Welden. He leaves behind his mother, Jane Welden; children, Dustin, Matthew, Samuel and Sarah Grace; brothers, Lonnie (Tammy), Kevin (Sandy), Shawn (Stacey); grandchildren, Madison and Brantley; past wives, Betty, Jami and Stella.

A visitation will be held for Darryl on Friday, June, 16, 2023 from 5-7pm with a funeral service to follow at 7pm. A graveside will be held at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Cemetery on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11am.
