Darlene V. Huffman

Janella Darlene Huffman (nee:Vaught), age 69, Knoxville, TN won her ultimate battle Tuesday, December 26, 2023, while surrounded by family and friends. She was a retiree from UT hospital. She spent all of her life caring for and serving others. Her and her husband have been faithful members of First Apostolic Church of Knoxville for over 50 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Christine Vaught; sister, Anna Oaks and bother, Joe Vaught.

Darlene is survived by her loving husband of 51 wonderful years, Richard; and two beautiful daughters, Dana and Stephanie (Marty). She was a proud mamaw and maw to Brody and Noah; sisters, Brenda(Joe), and Sandra; brothers, Jerry (Shirley), Timothy (Sharon) and multiple nieces and nephews.

She is loved dearly and will be immensely missed until we meet again.

A visitation for Darlene will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a funeral service immediately following at First Apostolic Church, 5020 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Knoxville, TN 37912.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at Berry Highland South Cemetery, 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Apostolic Church of Knoxville, 5020 Pleasant Ridge Rd., Knoxville, TN 37912.
