Norton, Cheryl Ann, age 57, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2013 at UT Medical Center after a long fight with cancer. She was of the Baptist Faith, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was employed by Denso Manufacturing for over 21 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Della Troutt, Sr.
Survived by her loving husband of 28 years, David Norton; daughter, Crystal and Eric Shaffer, Kimberly and Gerardo Reyes; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, Lloyd and Paula Troutt, Jr., Luther and Jennifer Troutt, Steve and Lisa Troutt; sister, Lynette and Rev. Larry Duncan; several nieces and nephews all of Knoxville and a very, very, special friend, Sherry Franklin; a special thanks to all nurses that helped.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Wednesday with the funeral service to follow in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Keith Shown officiating.
