Lee, Charles Edward 74 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 after a brief illness with cancer. He was employed for 28 years at Travis Meats. Preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Clyde and Carrie Lee and brother, Jim Lee. Charles is survived by his wife Brenda Sue Lee, sons, Johnny Bowden, Ronald Green (Crystal), Jeffery Lee (Debbie), and daughter, Michelle Smith, brothers, Gene, Jesse, and Wayne (Mary), and sisters Jane Johnson and Betty Beets (Ronnie), Grandchildren Tyler, McKensie, JoJo, Brandi, Allison, Darren, Kelly, Kevin, Chad, Josh, Brandon, and 6 great-grandchildren. The family would like to express appreciation to Caris Hospice Care and special nurse, Wendy. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11am-12pm at Berry Highland Memorial, with an interment service to follow in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery at 12pm. Rev. Louie Branch officiating.
