Carmen Renee Morgan, 50, of Knoxville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 14, 2017 at her home. Carmen’s most cherished part of life was her son, Brody, with whom she loved every moment no matter what they did together. She and her husband, Chuck, enjoyed spending time together watching and reciting old movies and she was very passionate about music. She also loved spending time with and visiting her family and friends. In addition to her cherished family time, Carmen also enjoyed working in PR and was well known for her sense of humor and meeting new people. In her spare time she cross-stitched, and was an advocate for both Breast Cancer Awareness and Autism Awareness, with which she constantly held charity and donation events for. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Reeves, and her grandparents. Carmen leaves behind her son, Brody Jackson; husband, Chuck Morgan; sister, Tama Bolin, brother-in-law, Earl Bolin; stepbrother, Rick Samson; father, Robert “Bob” Reeves; stepmother, Lynn Reeves; nephews, nieces, several aunts and uncles, cousins and close friends whom she loved dearly. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Carmen’s life will be held at 6 pm Thursday, December 28, at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd Knoxville, TN 37932.
