BUNNY SUE TURNER – age 81 of Knoxville entered the presence of the Lord she loved on January 24, 2013. Her life was marked by a contagious joy in Him, and prayer was as natural for her as breathing. Bunny loved God with all her heart and her life was one of giving and serving others. Married for 62 years she loved and served her husband, five children, eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Bunny loved to teach and share God’s Word and instilled that in the lives of so many others. She is preceded in death by daughter Sharon Turner, grand-daughter Mary Kathryn Heath, brother TJ Kelso, parents Herbert and Lois Kelso. Survivors include: husband Charles W. Turner Sr., son Charles and Leigh Turner, son Mark and Bronwen Turner, daughter Kathryn and Ray Heath, son Stephen and Laura Turner. Grandchildren: Eric Turner, Donna Piercey and husband Gavin Piercey, Rachel Jonas, Rebekah Leatherwood, Jonathan Heath and wife Lindsay Heath, Michelle Heath and fiancée Mark Sharrow, Micah Turner, Matthew Turner, Christian Turner and wife Sierra Turner, and Tanya Turner. Her great-grandchildren: Suttree Jonas and Micah Jonas. Brothers: Don and Herbert Allen Kelso, Sisters: Bobbie Kennedy, Nancy Beasy, June Conner, Betty Cleveland, and Diane Jackson and a large group of nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. Receiving of family and friends will be on Sunday, January 27th, from 5-7pm at Weaver Funeral Home with a funeral service following. Those planning to attend the burial will meet Monday Jan 28, at 10:45 am at New Gray Cemetery for an 11 am burial.
