Brenda Sue Lawrence

Brenda Sue Lawrence age 66 of Knoxville, TN went home to be with the Lord Wednesday February 9, 2022. She was a faithful member of Keith Avenue Baptist Church, a devoted Sunday School teacher who loved her church and church family. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,great-grandmother daughter, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by father, Clarence (Bud) McCurry; brother, Kenneth Edward McCurry (Stymie). Brenda is survived by husband of 44 years, Billy Lawrence; daughter, April (Bobby) Dotson; son, Luke (April) Lawrence; Mother, Mary McCurry; 5 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dotson, Steven (Christina) Dotson, Jacob Sillinger, Logan Lawrence and Isabella Lawrence; 8 great-grandchildren, Amelia, Brayla, Sophia, Declan, Willow, Grayson, Lincoln and Callen; sisters, Linda (Keith) Miller, Alice (Tommy) Woody, Betty Conard, Laura (James) Muncey; brothers, Bobby McCurry, Ronnie (Red) McCurry and Donald McCurry; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday February 13, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. David Hutchison Jr. and Rev. Louis Branch officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Funeral Home Monday February 14, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. and go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. Interment.
