Bonnie Joyce Johnson

Bonnie Joyce Johnson, age 93, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 14th, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She attended Valley Grove Baptist Church from birth, accepting Christ at the age of 8. Serving her Lord for 85 years by teaching, singing in the choir, and organizing meals and serving families during their time of loss. Loving people and sharing the Gospel was always a priority. She also enjoyed camping, sewing, baking and cooking for her family. Was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and UT Lady Vols.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Floyd "Frosty" Johnson Sr.; Parents Mark and Lillian Johnson; Siblings Margaret Kee (Wally), Carter Johnson, Doris Johnson (Lindsay)

Survived by her son Floyd "Frosty" Johnson Jr (Sandy); Daughter Gail Hawkins (Darris Sr); Grandchildren: Sherry Dennis (Michael), Christy Johnson (Daniel), April Linkous (Lee), Darris Hawkins Jr (Jackie); Great grandchildren: Hayden Johnson, Brooklyn Prichard, James Perry (JP) and Isaiah Linkous, Grace and due soon, baby girl Hawkins; step great grandchildren Jayden and Lilli Dennis; very special friend-Sister Dorsey Lou Woliver .... they cherished an 85 year friendship; brother-in-law Terry Johnson and many loved nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Bonnie will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. Following the visitation will be a graveside service and interment officiated by Adam Woliver at 3:00 PM at Valley Grove Baptist Church, 9000 Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
