Betty Blair (Gaskins) Harrell, age 66 of Knoxville, TN passed away on December 20, 2018 after a brief struggle with cancer. She was known by her friends and co-workers as Becky, and spent almost 20 years as a special education resource teacher and educational diagnostician with the Knox County Schools. She later spent time serving both children and adults with testing and special needs requirements. She was an avid gardener, and was most at home outdoors. Becky was preceded in death by parents, Mary and Homer "Lee" Gaskins and daughter, Alicia Andrea Harrell. She is survived by son, Benjamin Harrell and wife, Nina Brockman Harrell; grandson, Archie Lay; sister, Mickey Bonds and husband Stan; nephews (and families of ) Keith, Drew and Jim Brown.
