Bessie Christina Watts

Bessie Christine Watts, age 94, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully at home on, Monday, January 10, 2022. Christine was a loving Mom and Mamaw to all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband A.G. Watts; son Lonnie Watts; parents Arthur and Della Dodson; and her brothers Paul, Johnnie and Ray Dodson and grand-dog Eli. Christine is survived by children Bill (Vivan) Watts, Linda Whaley, Bonnie Watts, Lester (Cindy) Watts, Marie (Don) LeQuire, David (Rhonda) Watts, Chrissy Watts, Gloria (Paul) Boggs, Shirley Watts, and Naomi Ogle; grandchildren Tracy Plyler, Darin Watts, Beverley Jones, Allison Hickman, Margaret Hickman, Heather Daniel, Ashley Coffey, Chad Whaley, Carrie Chandler, Zack Watts, Daniel Lane, Leah Watts, Jackie Ogle, and Peyton Newman; great-grandchildren Stephanie Plyler, Alex Plyler, Lenny Watts, Sam Plyler, Ethan Coffey, Addalynn Whitaker, and Henry Jones; and her trusted companion grand-dog Rusty. The family would like to thank UT Hospice for the loving care they gave Christine. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to, Folds of Honor or Wounded Warrior, in Christine's name. Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland South on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10:45am for an 11am Interment Service.
