Benjamin A. Webb

Webb, Benjamin (Ben) Allen, age 83 of Knoxville went to join our Lord on November 14, 2011. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member and deacon of New Start Baptist Church in Maynardville, TN. Ben retired after 32 years of service from Tom’s Foods. Preceded in death by mother, Callie (Jones) Webb; brothers, Clarence, Lester, John, Leonard, Paul, Miran, and Cecil; sister, Alice Cronos; and several brother and sister-in-laws.

Survived by loving wife of 52 years, Jama Webb; sons, Allen and Tommy; daughter, Tina Kirby; son-in-law, Philip; granddaughter, Briana Walker; great granddaughter, Kira Walker; brother, Gene Webb; sister, Naomi Hurst; several brother and sister-in-laws; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 6 – 8 pm at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with the funeral service to follow. Graveside service will be held at Boruff Cemetery, Blackfox Rd., Washburn, TN at 2pm Saturday, November 19, 2011. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel at 12:30 pm to go in procession to the cemetery. Arrangements by Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W.
