Anna Mae "Annie" Conard, age 79 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She retired after 45 years of faithful service at Tennessee School for the Deaf. She was a wonderful sister and aunt, and will always be remembered for her love of her nieces and nephews.
Annie was preceded in death by father, Addison Mynatt and mother Mable McMillion; husband, Medford "Gene" Conard; and sisters and brothers-in-Law, Mary Leffew, Wanda and Bobby Ridner. She is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Eric Haralson; brother-in-law, Alfred Leffew; nieces and nephews, Sharon Lundy, Debbie Lowe, Anthony Conard, Angela Conard, April Cox; great-nieces and nephews, Scott Lundy, Stephanie Lundy, Rachel Nelson, Ashley Burrum, Emilie Douglas, Erik Conard, Alexis Cox, Abigail Cox, Elijah Cox and Zayne Conard; and other extended family and friends. Special acknowledgement to Howard Cox for his dedication to Annie's care and well-being.
Family and Friends will gather on Saturday, January 9th at 11:00am at Woodlawn Cemetery for a Graveside Service, with Rev. Dr. Alan Smith officiating.
