Passed away peacefully at Forest Heights LTC surrounded by his family on October 13, 2024 at the age of 67.
Loving husband to Olimpia for 32 years. Dearest father to Camelia (Klayton) and stepfather to Joana (Don). Beloved moşu to Daniel, Damian, Dea, Sebastian and Julian. He is also survived by his brother Ion (Ana) and their children; Ionela and Nelu of Romania.
Traian had a deep appreciation for Romanian cuisine, particularly its desserts. He was an avid soccer enthusiast, with a strong loyalty to his favorite team, Inter Milan. Additionally, he took great pleasure in dancing to banateana, a form of Romanian folklore music. In his leisure time, he could often be found in his garage, tinkering with his collection of tools while enjoying a cold Budweiser. His presence will be profoundly missed by many friends and family members.
Family and friends may visit Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener on Thursday, October 17th from 5-8 pm. A funeral will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 18th at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow.
