Shirley Griffith

Passed away peacefully in the arms of her family at The Westmount Long Term Care, on Sunday February 28, 2016, in her 82nd. year.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Vincent Griffith (2004).

Our Mom will be dearly missed by her loving family, Dee (David Brown), Sandy (Glenn Caughey), and daughter–in-law, Barb Shortreed.

Shirley will be fondly remembered as “Nana” to 8 grandchildren, Angela, Shana, Tara, Stephanie, Adam, Samantha, Heather and John and 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Dear sister of Bruce Lemon, (Jackie), Denny Lemon (Francine) and Janet White.

Predeceased by a son Steve; granddaughter Mandy, and great-granddaughter Ava Shortreed; Brothers Howard and Gary and a sister Marilyn and a brother-in-law, David White.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener on Saturday March 5th, 2016 from 9:30am until time of service in the chapel at 11:00am. with reception to follow in casual attire.

Cremation has taken place.
