Passed away at Grand River Hospital on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Madonna Mahon (nee Hennessey) for 52 years. Dear father of Gerard Mahon (Sharon), Darlene McCormick (Jim), and Darren Mahon. Loved grandfather of Christopher (Misty), Shannon, and Connor and great grandfather of Sadie and Ethan. Dear brother of Bernice Phillips, Frank, Gus, and Leo (Harriet). Predeceased by his parents John and Annie Mahon (nee Gardner), his brothers Val, John, Gerald, and Paddy, and his sisters Mercedes Adams, Marie Dobson, and Madonna “Dolly” Tschirhart. Ronald’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 6 – 9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 1:30 pm.
