Always a warm place in our hearts for Bob.

I owe the start of my career at JMS to Mr Cassidy when he hired me out of University

Uncle Bob loved horses. He was a meticulous dresser. Always well healed and neat as a pin, and always took care not to get mussed up. So it made us smile the few times he visited us and he would cosy up real close to our horses. The horses would invariably  sneeze and slobber all over his shoulders and sleeves. Uncle Bob couldn’t care less about the mess. He just loved being next to them. We’ll miss you. 

Bob was my very first boss when I joined the workforce of J.M. Schneiders decades ago; like Julie Cullen,  working in the Superintendents' office.  I have many fond memories of him during that time.  He was always nattily dressed under his white lab coat and while he would  seem too proper to be managing a bunch of "meatheads", he had no problem letting his temper show - but it was always a brief outburst than back to normal.  Fondly, it would remind me of a Banty rooster ruffling its feathers. I have thought of him often over the years and while I am saddened knowing he is no longer with us, I am happy to know he is with Mildred once more.

Bob was my boss in the Superintendents office all those years ago.  He was a gentle man and a gentleman.   He was the best.

While the passing of Uncle Bob has been expected, I mourn his loss but am grateful all pain is gone and he at last joins the love of his life, Aunt Mildred.
Uncle Bob indeed was a "dapper" gentleman as befitted his position at J.M. Schneiders. Back in the day, he was also a man who found happiness at Sunday dinners with mom and dad (Ardeynne and Jack), after being in his version of old clothes out with the horses!
My daughters and I will long hold dear the memories of get togethers for Uncle Bob with his brothers and sisters. The laughter and ridiculous tales were such fun. May their good times together go on...

So sorry for your loss.  Uncle Bob was such a gentleman and enjoyed the Christmas Gatherings he had for his family.   Great memories to remember and he will always be in our hearts.

We will ALL miss Bob at Terrace on the Square and his humour! He always knew how to put a smile on your face and had a few pretty good one liners! Our condolences to everyone at this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Bob. I didn’t know him well but had met him many times years ago. He was a very dapper man and always a pleasure to talk with.
I am also saddened to hear about Aunt Rosemary. I didn’t know her but I worked at  Dutch Boy with John and Rob.
