Mary Nowak

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce Mary’s passing at Grand River Freeport on September 22, 2014 at the age of 95 with her son Joseph by her side. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Francis Nowak, children Pat (Joe) McNeill, Jane (Larry) Litzgus, Gwen (Tom) McGrenere, Joseph (Barbara), Linda (Paul) Embro, special daughter/sister Rita Lederman as well as 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; each one dear to her heart. Daughter of the late Michael Mazurek and Leona Agnes Ciepiewicz. Sister of Connie, Fred, Michael, Dorothy and the late Harry. Our Mother: “her hand always helping, her arms always open, her face full of smiles, her ears ready to listen, her love never ending, her heart made of gold”. With special thanks to the dedicated and spirited staff of Fergus Place, Kitchener; to all of the CCAC nurses involved in her care; to the Eucharistic ministers of St. Aloysius Parish. Visitation will be on Monday September 29, 2014 at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at 10 am. at St. Aloysius Church, 11 Traynor Ave., Kitchener, On N2C 1W1. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
