Marija "Mary" Bacic

Beloved wife of the late Ljubo Bacic (2008). Dear mother of Zlatko Andrew (Mel), Dennis, and Jeanette. Loved grandmother of Andre. Dear sister of Ada, Gino, Idio, Dezica, and Virgilio. Predeceased by her brother Edi in infancy.

Marija was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden every summer. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and extended family and preparing their favourite meals such as gnocchi and povitica. She cherished her relationship with friends from the Ucka Club where she was a member. Also, she cared deeply for many of the people she worked for as a personal support worker during her time with ParaMed Home Health Care Services.

Mary's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, 119 Arlington Blvd., Kitchener, on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
