Marie Schneider

Marie Schneider (nee Beitz) died peacefully in Kitchener at the age of 91. She spent her last few months as she wished in her own home cared for by her family.

Beloved wife of the late Carl Schneider who passed away in 1985, loving mother to Shirley Ann Schneider and William Schneider and his wife Dianne, cherished grandma to Jason Schneider (Wendy Rofihe) and Emily Schroeder (Edward), treasured Nana to Emma, Michael, Josh and Elisabeth. Marie was a favourite aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a much loved great aunt to Rick Biggar and his wife Bev.

Predeceased by three sisters Loretta, Florence and Margaret.

Marie worked for 59 years as office manager and friendly voice of Schneider Sand and Gravel while running a busy household. With her desire to care for children, Marie taught Sunday school at the Church of the Good Shepherd for many years and was a long-serving Block Parent. Marie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm with Pastor John Maine officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
