June Mahala Waller

June Mahala Waller (née Elcombe) of Waterloo, Ontario. It is with great sorrow that her family announces June’s passing on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario in her 91st year.

Beloved wife of Clifford Charles Waller (2008) for 59 years. Dear mother of Pamela Blakey (2006), Brenda Vujovic, and Gordon Waller. Proud grandmother of: Steven Blakey (girlfriend Misha); Mark Blakey; Andrew Blakey (Danielle), and loving great-grandmother to their sons Matthew and Robert. Sister of Ross Elcombe (Ruth Ann). Aunt to Lesley (Tom) and her children Elliott and Edie. Predeceased by her parents Janey (1992) and Sidney Elcombe (1980). Loving best friend to Ellamae Cressman Hawkins.

June was born in Toronto, Ontario, and worked at Rogers Majestic Corporation in her youth. The family moved to Brampton before later settling in Kitchener-Waterloo. June enjoyed vacations with Cliff and the family and travelled to many destinations including Europe and the Caribbean. June liked her friendships, such as those at her Willowells condominium and companions at the Seniors Program at the Adult Recreation Centre.

Friends and family are invited to share their memories and celebrate June’s life at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener (519 743-8900), on Sunday, March 10th. Visitation at 1 pm, Service at 2 pm, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
