Horst Wildtraut

Peacefully, at Lanark Heights Long Term Care Centre on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the age of 81. Dearly loved father of Petra Boyd and her husband Gary, he leaves precious memories with his grandchildren Madeleine and Jack Boyd, and his beloved companion Frances Wolf. Horst will be lovingly remembered by his sister Helga Stephan and her husband Dieter, nephew Harald and his wife Silke, all of Freusburg, Germany, in-laws Else and Joerg Schikora of Kitchener, Irmtraut and Willi Rahn of Orangeville, nephew Thomas Schikora and niece Tanya Rahn Kubasta. Predeceased by his wife Lieselotte Wildtraut (nee Rahn), and his parents Frieda and Hermann Wildtraut. Horst was a long-time member of the Concordia Club Outdoor Group and the Waterloo County Revolver Association. The Family extends sincere thanks to the staff at Lanark Heights Long Term Care Centre for their loving compassion and care. The Family will receive friends at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., on Saturday, September 19th, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Memorial Service will be in the Westmount Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Celebrant Brianne Jourdin officiating. Inurnment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
