He was predeceased by his wife Marion, daughter Mary Stupart, daughter-in-law Rose-Marie Johnston, sisters Ruth Trinier and Alethea Johnston and his parents Herbert and Ellen Agnes Johnston. He is survived by his son Bob, daughter Beth, granddaughter Michelle and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his many faithful visitors. Paul was born and spent his life in Kitchener. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church and a long-time employee of Tri County Welding. He was a WWII veteran and was proud to have served his country. He enjoyed gardening, long drives through the country and helping others. We are grateful to the staff at Briarfield Gardens and St. Mary’s Hospital for their care and kindness to Paul in his final days. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Monday, April 9, 2018, from 7 – 9 p.m. A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:15 a.m., followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
