Harold was born and grew up in Toronto before moving to Kitchener.
Predeceased by his wife Margaret, parents Joseph and Josephine and brothers Joey and Mervyn.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his spouse Faye, daughter Heather, sister Beth, step son Scott, grandkids Tyler, Jesse and Amanda, many nieces, nephews and friends, especially good friend Doug.
He was a member of the Ulster Accordion Band of Toronto in his teenage years alongside family members. This is where his love for playing the accordion began. Harold was a founding member of the Lion Rampant Accordion Band of Kitchener. In the last several years Harold returned to the Ulster Accordion Band. He travelled North America and Northern Ireland with both bands.
Harold enjoyed travelling with the band and on family vacations. He loved going on cruises with his daughter Heather. He enjoyed visiting Northern Ireland to spend time with family there.
Harold was a Maple Leafs Hockey and Toronto Argonauts fan. Music brought him joy and he loved dogs.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive guests on Friday, December 20th at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, for memorial visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society, would be appreciated by the family.
