Dear father of Kenneth, David (Sherri). Proud and loving grandfather of Carter, Brad and Dylan. Dear brother of Roman (Marlene) and Ted (Pat), brother in-law to Minda. Also remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents John and Julie Maziarz, brothers Joseph, Stanley (Elaine) and John.
Known as Eddie to many, he enjoyed many years of retirement after 44 years of service at Uniroyal Goodrich. Long time member of the Hamilton Stamp Club. He loved his yearly getaway to McGregor Bay which he first shared with friends and then with family for many years after. Later in life he became an avid camper and canoeist with brother John with whom he canoeed the entire length of the Grand River. And for the past decade he and his son Ken travelled the country on road trips, having been as far as Alberta, Nova Scotia and Radisson, Quebec.
Ed’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., where the funeral liturgy will be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m., with Father Lukasz Kopaniak of Blessed Sacrament Parish officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
