Doris Elaine Reick Schaefer

Passed away surrounded by her loving family at London Health Sciences, Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday July 4, 2012 in her 61st year. Dearly loved wife of 36 years to Leo, Doris will be sadly missed by her daughters; Maryanne Paul (David), Lee-Anne Schaefer (Chris), Amy Schaefer (Wayne Hunt) all of Kitchener and by her son Steven (Patti) of Waterloo. Doris leaves cherished memories with her grandchildren; Spencer, Alexandria, Emily, Brooklynn, Angel, and one on the way. Loving sister to Carol Nutt of Stratford, Doris is predeceased by her grandson Bradley and her parents Adolf and Elaine Reick (nee Schneider). Doris cherished her family and friends, never letting anyone in her home to go hungry, she will lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. The Schaefer family will receive friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Service to celebrate the life of Doris Schaefer will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 with refreshments to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
