Almost a year has past and I find Cathie often in my thoughts.  It is hard to believe such a vibrant woman can only be reached in our hearts and minds.  Time moves on for everyone, but for Cathie it has stopped, teaching us that each day is precious and so our relationships with one another.  Remember to let the important people in your life know how special they are to you.  Enjoy live love.  With fond remembrances, my thoughts go out to Cathie's family as this year ends.

Rest in peace Cathie. I remember how nice you were to my kids and myself at Driftwood school. Lesley, your Mom was so proud of you. Driftwood Public School won't be the same without her smiling face, But she is smiling from above. Deanne MacIntosh

My heart sinks to know that you are gone, but in the sadness that I feel, I know that you are at peace and free.  Cathie, I have wonderful memories of you that I will always cherish. Words can't express the heartfelt sorrow I feel for losing a friend rediscovered from the past.  I have fond memories of Cathie when we were young that will always be with me.  Laszlo and Lesley I am sorry that I never met you but you have a wonderful family that will support you in your time of bereavement.

What lovely memories are in those photos! I probably last met Cathie and Laszlo at the McManus reunions in Mattawa. But I have warm memories from the years in Toronto when we would get together on Rossander Court for family parties. My thoughts are with you all.

I only met Cathie and Laszlo once, but have kept up with her journey through Carol Anne.  Accounts of her bravery, forbearance and love throughout her battle will always be an inspiration to me.  My thoughts go out to her family and friends who will miss her greatly.

I met Cathy only a few times, but really got to know her through her friendship with Carol Anne as to her character and strong spirit.  She is at peace now, but leaves her gift of strength, smiles, joys of life and friendship with each and everyone she touched.

I met Cathie many years ago, while visiting my sister-in-law Carol Anne.  She was welcoming and lovely.  My thoughts are with you Laszlo and Lesley.  Celebrate Cathie's life - remember the good times.

How do you say goodbye to a good and wonderful friend...Cathie I will miss you so much.  We were always there for each other even though we lived miles apart. I was the "shy" one but you brought me around and what good times we had...I shall never forget them and I shall never forget you...you were amazing.  Even in your suffering you continued to give as I now how another circle of friends, my Cathie friends, that are also amazing.  Thank you Cathie...I love you.

My dear friend Cathie. I will miss you so very much. You were a terrific friend to me,... my shopping mate, my concert friend, my confidante. We shared many, many good laughs, ups and downs. You were always there for our family. It was my honour to hold your hand through this sad journey.

I will always remember Cathie as a wonderful woman with integrity, grace, humour, passion, warmth and incredible courage in the face of insurmountable odds.
