Born August 24, 1919.
Re-united on January 10, 2015 with her husband Ken who passed away in 2008. Her heart ached for Ken. They lived for each other.
She was the most thoughtful person we knew, others in her life always came first. She was the most fun person we knew, always ready to enjoy what life has to bring; adventurous with the unfamiliar, willing to share each and every detail of her experiences and reliving them each time they are repeated. She is survived by her son Jim and his wife Donna, her son Bob and his wife Jennie, and her two grandchildren Ryan and Susan. She was predeceased by her daughter Sharon Betker (1946-1970.) Agnes was the last of 14 siblings. She was predeceased by her father John Colombo, horticulturalist & Grand Knight (1874-1947) and her mother Rose (Rosalia) Lorentz, home maker (1876-1963) both of Baden Ontario.
She was predeceased by 13 siblings: Margaretha (1900-1965), Cecilia Krug (1902-1992), Hubert (1905-1981), Rose Heintzman (1907-1999), John (1909-1982), Wilfred (1912-1964), Mary (1913-1978), Paul (1915-2007), Eleanora Mittendorf (1916-2006), Rita Ritzer (1918-1989), Gerard (1921-1984), George (1922-1989), and Michael (1923-1924). She was the most beautiful person we knew, with a sincere and gentle personality that expanded Ken’s love for her, and now into everlasting love. We wish to express our sincere thanks to the staff and doctors who cared for Agnes at Winston Park and Parkwood Nursing homes.Funeral services to be held at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7, 519-745-9495, with visitation on Wednesday January 14, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
