William R Ormond

William R. Ormond, 95, of Saint Cloud, Florida, died on Friday July 31, 2015. Born in Birmingham, AL, he was an engineering graduate of Tri-State University and was employed by Kentucky Utilities Company in 1947 and retiring in 1985 as a Director of Power Production. He moved to Saint Cloud in 1997 and was a member of Saint Cloud Presbyterian Church, Sons of Confederation Veterans and Lexington Lodge No. 1 F&AM. He is survived by five children William Ormond of Annapolis, MD, Carolyn Hamilton, of Lampasas, TX, Virginia Henderson of Lampasas, TX, Thomas Ormond of Saint Cloud, FL and James Ormond of Narcoosee, FL as well as eleven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Nell Lamon, his beloved wife of 58 years, and one grandson. Arrangements under the care of Grissom Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL.
