Roger Wesley Seldon

Roger Wesley Seldon, age 71, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. He was born on August 18, 1951 in Mount Vernon, New York to the late William Dan Seldon and Beatryce Gray.

Roger moved to Florida 3 years ago. He was a retired Naval Lieutenant Commander as well as a project manager for AT&T, Sous Chef at Union Square Cafe and a Realtor. Roger was a Mason of the 33rd Degree at Progressive lodge #64 and was a Shriner as well.

Roger is predeceased by his mother Beatryce Seldon, father William D. Seldon and first Wife Linda Seldon. He is survived by his wife Yvonne Seldon of Kissimmee, FL, daughter Ashley Seldon of Jersey City, NJ, son S. Ross Browne of Richmond, VA, sister Valerie Seldon of Citrus Heights, CA, sisters-in-law Tammie Weseman of Citrus Heights, CA, Carolyn Johnson of Mount Vernon, NY, and Tanya Smith of North Oaks, MN along with his brother-in-laws Dr. Stanley W. Smith of New Rochelle, NY and Dr. Lindley T. Smith of Richmond, VA. Roger also leaves behind his first cousins Ronnie L. Steward of Oklahoma City, OK, LaRheba Steward-Haywood of Oklahoma City, OK, Terri Lynn Steward-Jones of Oklahoma City, OK, Flechia Diane Phillips-DeCelle of Citrus Heights, CA, Mechelle Penny of Seattle, WA, Michael Penny of Seattle, WA, Etheldia Hughes of Seattle, WA, Barbara Hinton-Harris of Montgomery, AL, Jacqueline McDuffy of Myersville, MD, Wanda McDuffy-Vinson of Myersville, MD, Joe McDuffy of Oklahoma City, OK, Marvin Gray of Chicago, IL and Dr. Shareef A. Daaliya, PhD of Camden, NJ along with many other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A visitation for Roger will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grissom Funeral Home and Crematory in Kissimmee with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:oo PM followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Roger's name to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
