Mr. Ramon Vega, 85, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away February 23, 2011 at his residence. Born on July 14, 1925 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Ramon N. and Ana Dominga Lopez Vega. Mr. Vega was a self-employed truck driver. He was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Vega was married to Estrella Vega, who survives. He was predeceased by a son Nelson D. Vega, who passed away in 1993. In addition to his wife, Mr. Vega is survived by a daughter, Elsie E. Vega, and three grandchildren: Jeannette German, Yasmin (Wilfredo) Melara and Ramon Vega. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home and Crematory, 803 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, Florida. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. with military honors at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
