Luz Evelyn Torres-Rodriguez

Luz Evelyn Torres-Rodriguez (Lucy), beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Orlando, FL. She was 63 years old. Born August 19, 1951 in Guanica, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Victor Torres and Evelina Rodriguez. Evelina Rodriguez, Lucy's beloved mother, died Friday, January 9, 2015, in Long Beach, New York. Evelina was 80 years old. She will be missed by her siblings and family.

Lucy lived in both New York and Puerto Rico and in 2005 she came to Orlando with her daughter Denise and her family. She devoted her life to her family and was an amazing selfless woman. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved reading. She was kind, generous and always willing to help. She was a stellar example of what a mother should be. She will be missed.

Lucy is survived by her daughters Denise Diaz married to Jose Rodriguez, Jasmin Diaz married to Victor Robles, her sons Arnaldo Diaz, Christian Rosario, her grandchildren Karla Rodriguez, Sofia Rodriguez, Josh Robles, Jian Robles, Amanda Rodriguez, her sister Awilda Torres, her step-sister Lucy Ramirez, her brother Victor Torres, her niece Rachel Torres and her nephews Roderic Perez, Victor Rodriguez and Jason Torres.
