To Linda's Family and her so many close friends. 
My wife, Sue, and I miss seeing Linda at Publix during our weekly grocery shopping trip. We especially miss her great smile and that beautiful "English Accent", which I always kidded her about. She always remembered my name and shared with us her very fond memories of her very own "Chris".
She had told us how excited she was to be planning to return to "Good Old England".
Since we didn't see Linda in the check-out line at Publix for some time during our trips to Publix,  we had assumed that her dream of returning to England had become a reality.
Sometime in mid 2021, I asked Nikki, the manager at Publix, if she had heard from Linda. Obviously, my wife and I were very devastated to her of her untimely passing.
I was thinking of her today & did a Google search and found her information and was compelled to write this fond memory of her.
We miss her dearly.

I worked with Linda at Publix for a few years and I loved talking with her, I would always say, "Let's go across the pond and have a spot of tea." and she would always laugh.  She also got me started on Shepherd's Pie and we shared the one at Publix (Blakes) and we both enjoyed it.  I miss her smile, her hugs and she was always thoughtful and cared for others.  She will definitely be missed...Love you Linda...

Linda was a beautiful person  inside and out. So kind and full of life. Would literally do anything for anyone and gave the best hugs.
I first met Linda when I was 6 years old and from then on she has always been part of our family. I used to call her my Florida Mom ❤ I have so many amazing fun memories over the 25 years that ill cherish forever. We was so looking forward to seeing her again either when she came back to the UK or if we got to Florida first.
Our hearts hurt and go out to Donna, Robbie, Gillian and Erin.

I m so sorry for your loss. I work at dr larranaga office . she also work at the Publix in hunters creek were I shop, so we were very close. sweetest lady I ever met. I'm very sorry. she will be missed.

Linda was my little sister and I am going to miss her terribly. I had 3 sisters, but Linda was the baby of the family, bring the youngest. She was what she was. Kind, considerate of others, funny, happy, a fantastic Mum to her two children and a fantastic Grandmother to her granddaughter Erin. She was so proud of all of them and was hoping to move back to England to be near them once again. Unfortunately this was not to be. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, but everyone will have wonderful memories of a wonderful person.

We met Linda and Chris as fellow owners of vacation condo's in Kissimmee. I spoke with Linda on the phone during an 'owners' get to know you meeting and it came to light during our conversation, that we were actually neighbours in a condo vacation community. What a coincidence to actually be next door to each other! 
We became friends and would meet when we came over to Florida- indeed, Linda and Chris were valued guests at our son's Florida wedding some 12 years ago. 
We last saw Linda on our Florida trip in December 2019 - we flew in, met Linda in Kissimmee and enjoyed a meal together whilst also mourning the passing of Chris. We also met again with Linda at her home,  at the end of our trip. We were in Florida for just one week that trip - but met with Linda on both our first and last day there, having spent the intervening week on the Gulf coast.  A place much loved by all four of us.
Linda and Chris were larger than life characters- full of warmth and friendship and we have had some great times with them over the years. 
Who would have thought that our last Florida trip would be the last time we would meet with Linda.  That trip was just pre-covid - and at that time Linda was looking forward to coming 'home' to the UK in May 2020. Who could have forseen what was to happen- and to lose Linda to Covid is unbearable. Linda- I think of you everyday and cannot believe you are gone from us.
Now you are reunited with your beloved Chris.

Linda was one of my oldest and dearest friends. We met in the early 80’s when we worked in the same factory and became close friends.  
She was one of the kindest and most caring people that I have ever known, and she was there for me every step of the way through some of the toughest times of my life.  
She was an excellent friend who could be trusted with your deepest secrets but was always up for a laugh or a party and she loved to dance. 
When she came back from the USA the first time, she was so excited.  All she could talk about was this American barman called Chris that she had met.
I was lucky enough to meet him a few times and was honoured to attend their wedding.  I visited them in 2000 and they showed me an amazing time!

We have spoken on the phone many times since then and, as I am sure a lot of people know she was the kind of friend that no matter how long between chats, we would pick up the conversation as if there was no gap.

The last time I had contact with Linda was at the end of November when we were both looking forward to the time she was allowed to come home and we could meet in person.
I feel heartbroken and consumed by an incredible sadness, just knowing that it will now never happen.

My heart goes out to Donna, Robbie, all of her family and many friends for the loss of an incredible Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend.  Much love to you all.


Linda has always been an angel here on earth, she had a heart of gold , would help anyone, and was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, we met you 26 yrs ago you were part of our family from the start, we loved spending time with you when we were in florida big hugs and smiles and always very welcoming,  we had fun times in the parks, meals out and meals at your lovely home, you will be missed so much lovely lady,  our thoughts and love are with Donna & Robbie,

I am still not over the shock of learning of Linda passing. Having considered Linda a part of my family ever since the day Chris first told me of meeting her when she had visited the US for a vacation. I knew then that someday he would ask for her hand, as I could see it in his eyes since they sparkled every time he spoke of her.

Since the early 80's I had always considered Chris the brother I never had, and because of that I also considered Linda a part of my family since they were married, and on this day all I can do is ask God to comfort Linda's family and friends for this tragic loss.

Although it had been a number of years since I also shared their house, I will always have the memories of the many family dinners or meals we shared, or even the times we would just sit at the table or on the couch and chat.

Linda will always hold a very special place in my heart, and she will be missed greatly.
